From a lecture series titled "Children in Islam". The orator is Sheikh Salem Al Amry, a very lovable and clear speaker from the UAE, he kick starts the series with the first episode titled "Upbringing of children". Most of the western brothers and sisters have parents from abroad who unfortunately and truely came for one of two purposes (1) For money (2) Fleeing from opression. One sheikh said beautifully "Many have come to gain the gold, but in return have lost their gems", the gems being religion and imaan. Islam is a way of life, and we have to treat it like that, not like a one day a week visit to the mosque. Most important is upbringing of our children.
