What do you make of Jesus' claim that he is the way, the truth, and the life, therefore the only way to God? (John 14:6) If Jesus was the Messiah - as you believe - commissioned by God, then why would he lie about that? Also couldn't it be that Jesus really was forsaken at the cross, simply because he really was burdened with our sins and for that reason under God's curse as Deuteronomy 21:23 says?
"Jesus - God?" I used to fight this one in my mind - before finding the exact (logical) truth of Islam.
The only plausible answer is: "Jesus is the MESSENGER of God"
May Allah guide all of the good Christians to His Way, ameen.
