Learning Qur'anic Arabic - Dr. Ibrahim Surty
Arabic language is the most eloquent, versatile, efficient and magnificent of all languages. No wonder Allah honoured Arabic to be the language of the last and final revelation i.e. the Glorious Qur’an. According to the experts, the Qur’an is the most untranslatable book on the face of the earth. Though we can acquire the basic message of the Qur’an by reading the translation, if we want to ponder in depth over the Qur’an it is compulsory for us to know Arabic as a language. DR. MUHAMMAD IBRAHIM H. I. SURTY (M.A. Ph.D.), the founder of “QAF” i.e. Qur’anic Arabic Foundation, Birmingham (U.K) explains Qur’anic Arabic in a lucid, simple and effective manner, to facilitate rapid learning and enable very fast progression, taking into consideration the context and atmosphere of English speaking people. The first 10 episodes of this programme deal with teaching basics of Arabic to children while rest of the episodes focus on teaching Qur’anic Arabic to adults.
